Blue River Mainline Remastered

The Blue River Mainline is a high-fidelity Roblox railway simulation designed to replicate complex, real-world physical and freight logistics. Whether you are moving priority intermodal blocks over mountainous grades or handling heavy industrial drops in the terminal siding pools, safety, clean teamwork, and exact rulebook compliance are the cornerstones of operations.

Conductor Jurisdiction

You hold total command over train positioning, track clearances, switch locks, and ground movements. The locomotive engineer is under your direct instruction for speed authorizations.

Engineer Responsibilities

You govern the heavy tractive effort, dynamic braking matrices, and air compressor systems. Absolute obedience to signal indications and conductor ground commands is mandatory.

Server Compliance Check

Test your familiarity with server etiquette before dismounting into the tracks:

Section 1: The Ground Lingo

Search and filter standard railroad terminology. Direct voice or text chat transmissions must match these terms for official server ops.

The Ground (🟒)

The physical right-of-way outside the cab; active ground workspace.

Protocol: Notify engineer before stepping down: "Conductor hitting the ground."

Making a Joint (🀝)

The physical coupling of rolling stock or locomotives using knuckles.

Protocol: Count down the distance continuously: "3 cars... 2 cars... joint."

Kicking Cars (β˜„οΈ)

Uncoupling a rolling car to coast it into a yard track under its own momentum.

Protocol: Verify switches are fully lined and locked beforehand.

Lining a Switch (πŸ”€)

Operating a ground switch handle manually to change the rail direction.

Protocol: Check point seals physically; never guess alignment.

Section 2: Terminal Yard Classification

Operations breakdown inside yard terminals and staging pool environments.

1. Yard Staging & Sorting Methods

Blue River yard tracks must remain sorted dynamically. Manifests heading west must be segregated on the Lead Classification track while local transfers are allocated towards side spur locks.

Gravity Classification: Letting cars slide into sorting lines on down-slopes. A conductor MUST ride the car ladder of the rolling car to handle the handbrake, ensuring it doesn't slam into already staged freight at excessive speeds.

Industrial Spotting Checklist:

Section 3: Grade Securement Math

Calculate exact manual handbrakes required based on track gradient and train tonnage.

Formula: N_min = [ (T / W) Γ— G ] + 2 Required Brakes (N_min):
3

Section 4: Shoving Protocols

The Half-Distance communication rule and live radio count simulator.

The Half-Distance Rule: Whenever authorizing a backing movement (shoving), updates must happen before half the remaining distance has elapsed. No air transmission means the engineer stops immediately.

Simulated Voice Transmission Loop:

Authorize Distance: 12 Car Lengths
Ready to begin radio mock transmission test.

Section 5: CTC Signaling Hierarchy

Centralized Traffic Control indicators and signaling aspect matrix.

Interactive Signal Aspect Matrix:

Section 6: Trackside Signboards & Limits

Standardized freight payload speeds and trackside signs.

CLASS I 50

Priority Intermodal

High-priority manifest, container freight. Allowed maximum mainline speed.

CLASS M 40

Standard Manifest

Standard general manifest freight blocks, heavy drag units.

RESTRICT 15

Yard / Siding Limit

Inside yard zones. Prepared to stop short of misaligned switches.

Section 7: Locomotive Lighting Rules

Control lighting states dynamically to coordinate passing sidings inside multiplayer servers.

Engine Light Controller

FRONT NOSE 4731
Headlights:
Ditch Lights:

Section 8: Roblox Keyboard Controls

Master standard Roblox keybind configurations to govern physics smoothly.

Simulated Throttle Adjuster

Idle

Section 9: Handling Server Lag & Glitches

Diagnostic and recovery steps for broken couplers or split air drops.

Recovering from a Split Consist

If couplers break due to sudden server lag spike: Immediately apply emergency brakes. Walk back, back up slowly, and reconnect manually. Wait for train brake pipe lines to pump back up to 90 PSI before starting movement.

Mainline Derailment recovery

Never pull derailed stock further down the main lineβ€”this will pull adjacent cars off the tracks. Use the F3 reset menu to delete/respawn the affected car immediately, clearing blocking rails.

Section 10: Red Zone Protection

The mandatory checklist framework to perform safely inside dangerous areas.

⚠️ Red Zone Request Workflow

1. Conductor requests over air: "Requesting Red Zone."
2. Engineer locks cab down (brakes, neutral, generator field off).
3. Engineer confirms: "You have your Red Zone."
Perform Step 1 to begin safety clearance check.

Section 11: Radio Communications Log

Generate compliant dispatcher commands to copy & paste into Roblox chats.

Output Command
Blue River Dispatcher, this is Blue River 4731 West at North Siding Track 2. Requesting mainline authority to run West.
